1997 U2 Danelectro, this one is the very first of the modern reproductions, Korean made and, like the original 1950s items had the painted neck and headstock, and machine heads with the Dano logo on them. This was stopped almost immediately, second or third shipment as it meant if there were any issues the dealer had to wait for the correct coloured neck to turn up. They switched to a generic maple neck, no coloured finish or headstock, with simple heads. This one has been rebuilt and rewired, sounds great as they all do, and a six saddle Dano bridge.
